Thank you for visiting our website. We are constantly adding information and pictures to the site, so please visit often. Whether you are a member of our lodge, a Mason from somewhere else in the world, or just interested in learning more about us, we hope you will enjoy your visit.
King Hiram's Lodge is the oldest Masonic Lodge on Cape Cod, and one of the oldest lodges in America. Our charter was signed in 1795 by Paul Revere, who was the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts at that time. While our lodge is rich in history, it also is a vibrant and growing organization. This website covers all aspects of our lodge, both past and present.
If you are not a Mason, and are here to learn about our fraternity, please begin by clicking on the "Who are Masons?" button to get an overview of what we are all about. If you are a Mason, I'm sure you'll enjoy reading about and enjoying photos of our meetings and events. In either case, if you're interested in history then you're sure to enjoy this site. In the first hundred years of our history Provincetown was an entirely different place than it is today. Being located at the tip of Cape Cod, it was quite isolated from the rest of civilization. Most of our members were involved in the whaling industry, and the lodge was the social epicenter of Provincetown.
